ISLAMABAD: Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan
(ECP) Kanwar Mohammed Dilshad Monday said that
Sindh was the province where ECP offices received
the most damage. Talking to Geo News, Secretary
ECP said the prevalent circumstances upset election
schedule, as the electoral rolls have been torched
to ashes with a lot of damage received by the
ECP offices in Sindh. Commenting on the possibility
of elections postponement, Kanwar Mohammed Dilshad
maintained that the final decision would be made
only after the receipt of reports from all the
provinces, as the ground realities could not be
overlooked. There had not been any backup for
several accessories and electoral apparatus, which
were destroyed in the recent tumultuous developments
in Sindh.
