Govt not to
compromise on law & order: President

ISLAMABAD: President Pervez Musharraf has said those disrupting peace of the country are enemies of Pakistan and people of Pakistan adding no compromise will be made on law and order situation in the country He said this while addressing a high level meeting here Monday. Heads of security agencies and other senior officers attended the meeting. President himself is persistently monitoring law and order situation in the country and is constantly keeping in contact with all the four provincial governors.
President expressed satisfaction that situation was improving following 3-day mourning in connection with assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and normalcy was returning in Karachi and other parts of Sindh. Army and Rangers will remain deployed as long as civil administration needs their help, he announced. Anti social elements created law and order situation, he said adding these elements took law into their hands when the whole nation was plunged deep into grief.—Agencies
