KARACHI: In view of situation emerging out of tragic incidents and supervise activities in the country, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Karachi Azhar Ali Farooqui has asked people to start new year with simplicity.
In a statement on Monday, he said that the police had taken all measures for protecting life and properties of people and were making them more effective through public coordination.
He said that it would be better for citizens to avoid visiting public places, particularly beaches. CCPO said that necessary police teams have been deployed at all public places including bazaars, shopping centres and beaches besides ensuring checking arrangements.
CCPO said that traffic police were also performing their services for the smooth flow of vehicular movement on all city roads.—RT
