ISLAMABAD: Routine Life has come to normal here
on the fifth day after the assassination of
PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto at Liaqat Bagh
on Thursday evening.
The twin cities which was presenting a gloomy
look in last five days seems to show a usual
atmosphere with the hustle and bustle of public
transport and people going to their respective
work. Public Transport Vehicles though not in
full numbers also started plying between twin
cities and Commuters who were nearly cut since
last five days heaved a sigh of relief. On the
other hand, people took a sigh of relief with
the opening of shops especially Medical Shops
and other Departmental Stores to fulfil their
needs.
All the Petrol and CNG pumps opened on Monday
with rows and rows of vehicles waiting for their
turn to fill petrol and CNG in their respective
vehicles. People of the twin cities were seen
buying food, grocery, medicines and other household
stuff in amid security concerns. Meanwhile strict
security measures were seen at all the entry
and exit points of Twin Cities to avert any
further untoward incident.
