KARACHI: The impeachment against President Pervez Musharraf is the demand of the nation as well as complete future plan of all political parties of the country, thus Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) should support the resolution of  no-confidence move against President.
This was stated by Sindh Minister for local government, Agha Siraj Durrani while talking to media at Sindh Assembly building on Tuesday. He said hopefully MQM will support the no-confidence motion today (Wednesday).
Minister said that if they support the resolution, this will lead to impeachment and it would be beneficial for both the parties PPP and MQM as they are coalition partners in Sindh.
Agha Siraj that said we (PPP) have explained to these friends that we have been supporting each other on various issues and we hope that they would support the resolution.
When asked that if they do not support the resolution as they are claimed to be strong ally of President Pervez Musharraf , he said that in political arena this always happens, if they go against the resolution, their name will come in bad names in the history who did not respect the desire and will of the nation. He said it is high time that President should quit in his larger interest of the nation.
Agha said that PPP is in touch with the MQM London International secretariat and the MQM Karachi chapter and hopes that they will give respect and consideration to their coalition partners in Sindh.
