ISLAMABAD: After the statement of PML (Q) member
parliament Marvi Memon referring to defense
of the President and her party, the members
on governmental benches raised slogans of “No,
No”. It was learned here on Tuesday that
during the proceeding of the session the member
parliament from PML (Q) Marvi Memon presented
the amendment bill in the constitution related
to the northern areas in the parliament that
was rejected by the Government. Later while
holding discussion upon the bill, she informed
that President Musharraf and Government of PML
(Q) during their reign took due steps to bring
progress and prosperity in the northern areas,
but the incumbent rulers have expressed no such
feelings for the depressed people of these tribal
areas.—Agencies
