JACOBABAD: A four-day training workshop started on other day on gender sensitization and legal literacy organized by Sindh Development Society Hyderabad in collaboration with UNDP and Local Government Sindh at Sardar Muhammad Amin Khoso (M) High School Jacobabad.
G.M Soomro, Ghaffar Malik and Ms. Asma Bibi imparted training to elected representatives of Local Government including UC Nazims and female councilors. The trainers also informed participants about applicable laws and objects of Masalihat-i-Anjuman, maintenance of record of gender cases at UC Level and reporting of the case. UNDP representative Saddar-ud-din Jatoi monitored the training workshop. The Secretary MAJA Jan Odhano and Member MAJA S B Khoso were also present on the occasion.
