JSSF protests against BISE Hyderabad officials

HYDERABAD: The activists of Jeay Sindh Student Federation on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration against officials of Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Hyderabad.
The protestors under the leadership of Surhia Sindhi, Mushtaq Soomro and others, who blamed that the officials of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education are allegedly taking extra fees of marks sheet and other documents. They demanded immediate action against involved officials so that the students can be provided relief.
Journalists protest against killing of their colleague in Dadu
The journalists of Hyderabad staged a protest demonstration against killing of their colleague in Dadu on the other day.
The protestors under the leadership of Aziz Malik, Mukhtiyar Burfat, Younis Chandio, Iqbal Mallah, and others staged a sit-in protest and observed black day against killing of Azim Laghari. They demanded of the government to ensure arrest of killers of the media man.
PPP-SB protests for release of
arrested workers
Activists of PPP-SB staged a protest demonstration and observed sit-in outside the Hyderabad Press Club against the arrest of their leaders.
The protestors were led by General Secretary Ladies Wing, Tahzibunisa, Imran Shah, Naeem Halepoto and others, who blamed that police is harassing their activists by lodging fake cases against them in order to change their loyalties with PPP-SB. They demanded immediate release of their activists.
PWF protests against inflation
The activists of Pakistan Workers Federation on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration and took out a rally against inflation and unemployment outside the Hyderabad Press Club.
The protestors under the leadership of Abdul Latif Nizamani, Muhammad Iqbal and others, who while addressing on the occasion said that a large number of population of the country belongs to labour community and due to inflation and rising prices of commodities they are facing starvation. They demanded of the government to take notice of the matter and ensure relief to labourers.
Different protests for justice
Several People on Tuesday staged various protest demonstration for justice.
One Dhani Bux Panwhar staged a protest demonstration for arrest of killers of his son and occupants of his land. Another protest was staged by the SRTC employees, who demanded their remaining dues. A lady Shamshad Memon staged a protest demonstration against killers of her children, she also observed token hunger strike and demanded immediate arrest of her children’s killers.
Peasants hold demo against
landlord
The peasants held a protest demonstration on Tuesday, demanding recovery of their 25-year crop share worth Rs6 million from of a landlord of Jhol Ali Ghulam Marri.
The demonstration was organized by Peace and Human Rights Trust and led by Iqbal Ahmed Khan divisional coordinator of Trust, field coordinator Soomar and Bhooro.
Peasants Talookho, his sons Gandhi, Ramchand and Pahlaj told newsmen that they had tilled lands of Ali Ghulam Marri who is nephew of Abdul Rehman Marri, the Munoo Bheel family kidnapping fame, for last 25 years and were never paid compensation for their labour work.
They said whenever they demanded payment of their share the landlord beat up them ruthlessly besides keeping them into illegal custody.
They demanded payment of their share of crops that makes around Rs6 million. PHRT spokesman told media that they will file application in Sindh High Court on behalf of peasants for payment of their labour work of last 25 years.
Rain lashes Hyderabad
After scorching few days, rain lashed Hyderabad and its surrounding areas on Tuesday. After rain weather became pleasant and people took out to roads to enjoy the rain, however, electricity was suspended for few hours and low lying areas were inundated by the rainwater.
