Karachi: Baldia Town administration has finalized all arrangements to celebrate the Independence Day on 14 August in a befitting manner. The roads and important public places have been decorated with flags and banners besides illuminating government and private buildings. The streets, roads and areas around holy places have been cleaned. The arrangements have also been made to ensure smooth water and power supply to all town areas on the day so that citizens do not face problems.
Flags have also been hoisted along roadsides and main roundabouts to mark the event with renewed zeal and fervor. The decorated roads are 5-D road, Ghosia road, 13-D road, Dastagir road and Quaid Avenue-7 road. The town administration has also made arrangements to inaugurate a newly constructed roundabout near Rubi Cinema on the mid night of 13th and 14th August where fireworks will be played to highlight the event.
