Pakistani
traders invited to participate in MUSIAD Trade
Fair
KARACHI: Turkish Commercial Attache Nail Ersoy
has invited Pakistani exporters to participate
in 12th MUSIAD International Trade Fair, scheduled
to be held from August 23, at Istanbul. He said
that this is the largest general trade fair
of Turkey where Pakistani exhibitors can introduce
their products to the large number of visitors.
He was speaking at an interactive session with
the officials of Trade Development Authority
of Pakistan (TDAP) including director general
Mir Nasir Abbas and leading exporters here Tuesday.
Ersoy said that Turkey with a population of
72 million people and a trade volume of $ 277
billion, was strategically located on the crossroads
of three continents and Pakistani exporters
must market their products in this big market.
Ersoy pointed out that international business
forum congress will also be held alongside the
exhibition from August 22 to 25. In his presentation,
Turkish commercial attache said his country
imports cement, natural stones, ceramics, textiles,
clothing, furniture, leather and its articles,
automotive and spare parts, shipbuilding, glassware,
jewellery, iron and steel, machinery, electrical
equipment, electronics, chemical and IT software.—RT
