Non
bail-able warrant against Pervaiz Elahi &
Fazl issued
LAHORE: Additional Session judge Lahore issued
non bail-able warrant against former Chief Minister
Punjab, Chaudray Pervaiz Elahi and President
JUI, Mulana Fazal-ur-Rehman.
According to the details, in the earthquake
of October 2005, women were brought to Meo Hospital
Lahore for treatment, among them one woman put
allegations on a doctor named Maqsood for attempt
of rape.
On the force of Fazal-ur-Rehman, then chief
Minister Punjab Chaudry Pervaiz Elahi, suspended
the doctor and registered the case but after
one and half year court announced Maqsood as
innocent in this regard.
After the court’s decision, Dr Maqsood
filed a writ against Pervaiz Elahi, Fazal-ur-Rehman,
Former Chief Secretary Salman Sadiq , Former
Provincial Minister Saba Sadiq and SSP Lahore
Amir Zulfiqar.
Despite several notices, no one showed up so
on this court issued non bail-able arrest warrant
and asked them to appear in court on July 25
2008.
On other hand, while contacting Chaudry Pervaiz
Elahi categorically denied his involvement in
