Process of providing jobs to youths of Sindh has started: Jam Saifullah Dharejo

SUKKUR: Provincial Minister for Irrigation, Jam Saifullah Dharejo while addressing a press conference in Sukkur said that the process of providing jobs to unemployed youths of Sindh has started and fifty thousand people will get jobs soon. He said that Kalabagh Project has been cancelled by the government due to concerns of people of Sindh. In order to maintain water stability each canal and wah of Sindh will be provided sufficient water. He said that he has terminated XENs of Mirpur Mathelo and Ghotki on public complaints on their failure of proving water to tail-end growers.
He further said that present government is a part of democracy and they have to answer the votes of people. He said that billions of rupees of land was occupied in the tenure of former Chief Minister, Arbab Ghulam Rahim. He said that the jobs will be provided on merit.
Sacked NCHD
employees to
observe hunger strike
All sacked employees of NCHD will observe hunger strike on July 21 at the shrine of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bux to protest against the termination of their services. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Muhammad Ilyas Rind, Abdus Samad Soomro, Javed Mugheri and Pevez Kalhoro strongly condemned the terminations of NCHD employees. They said that terminations of these employees had affected people-friendly policy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. They said that such act of rendering people jobless is against the philosophy of PPP for the rights of people. The affected employees said that they would continue their protest if they were not reinstated. They appealed to Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to intervene into the matter and reinstate them.

condemned
Minority members of Sukkur under the leadership of Mukhi Dhano Mal, Dr. Indar Lal, Lal Deep, Jai Parkash and others staged a protest demonstration outside the Sukkur Press Club against armed persons of a PPP MPA, Naeem Ahmed Kharl namely Abdul Karim Panwhar, Noor Din Panwhar and others for allegedly occupying the plot of Gao Shala Temple of Gambat. The protestors strongly chanted slogans against the MPA and his men. Later, the protestors met Provincial Minister for Irrigation, Jam Saifullah Dharejo and informed him about the matter. Talking to newsmen the protesting people said that they had also protest in front of Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and MNA Nafeesa Shah assured them to provide justice despite of that they have not been provided justice.
