PTEU demands release of
its arrested leaders

SHAHDADKOT: The Pakistan Telecommunication Employees Union staged a protest demonstration against the arrest of its leaders including, Zulfiqar Ali Sangi and others outside the Shahdadkot Press Club on Wednesday.
Addressing on the occasion, the protesting leaders including, Muhammad Iqbal Jamali, Ahmed Ali Soomro, Abdul Rehman Khokhar, Zulfiqar Jamali, Ghazi Khan Khokhar and others strongly condemned the alleged torture on the peaceful protestors of their union in Larkana and Islamabad by police and slammed the government for arresting its leaders including, Zulfiqar Ali Sangi and others.
On the occasion, the protesters demanded of the authorities for the immediate release of their arrested leaders, otherwise they threatened to accelerate their protest level.

The civic lives and business activities have been disrupted, due to non-repair of the technical fault, which occurred in Grid Station Shahdadkot in spite passage of more than 60 hours.
According to the reports, a bush of the transformer of Gird Station Shahdadkot has not been repaired by the WAPDA officials. And as a result, the prolonged power outages are being continued in Shahdadkot and its adjoining areas.
It is worthwhile to mention that the, MNA, Ramesh Lal Motwani ordered to the Chief Executive of HESCO for the immediate removal of the fault so that the citizens can take a sigh of relief.
