chalks out elaborate programs for observing
BB’s chehlum

ISLAMABAD: Secretary General of the PPP Jehangir
Bader has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party
has chalked out elaborate programs for observing
the chehlum of former Prime Minister and Chairperson
of the Party Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto
on February 7. In a statement on Monday, he
said that under directions of the Co-Chairman
Senator Asif Ali Zardari, chehlum functions
would be held in the Party’s offices at
Provincial, divisional and district levels in
the morning on Feb 7.
Special prayers will be offered at the functions
to be held at the Party’s offices followed
by meals to be served to the poor. Jehangir
Bader said that Party’s provincial, divisional
and district presidents have been asked to stay
at their respective headquarters for organizing
the functions instead of coming to Naudero for
the chehlum.
