Qazi urges nation to boycott fraud elections

PABBI: The president MMA Qazi Hussain Ahmed on Monday has urged said that nation, not to participate in upcoming fake elections and boycott it completely. While addressing the public gatherings at Khudvazi and Noshki in Noshera, he said that these elections are being held under the American agenda, and hence should be completely boycotted.
Citing President Pervez Musharraf, he said that a person that can damage the entire judicial system, and amend the constitution according to his will merely to prolong his rule, cannot be trusted to hold free and fair elections. He further said that Pakistan has been defamed on international level during President Musharraf’s tenure and he deposed those judges who gave justice to innocent people and heard the cases of the missing persons who have been handed over to America. He added that Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was deposed only due to his inquiries about the missing persons of British nationality, which “ disappeared” from Kashmir. He said that (even) ever since the assassination of such a popular leader as Benazir Bhutto, life of common man is in severe danger, since government has failed to protect the life and property of innocent masses. He urged the nation to continue struggle for free, fair and transparent elections so that it could bring major change and revolution in the country and people could get free and fair justice.—Agencies
