PESHAWAR: Deputy Director Intelligence Bureau (IB) NWFP, Nisar Ahmad Khan was gunned down by some unknown persons outside his house at Shabqadar area in Charsadda district. Officials of Battagram Police Station in Shabqadar informed that the deceased was going back to his home in Marozai area after offering Fajar prayers, when the assailants opened fire on him from a car. Nisar Ahmad suffered serious wounds and was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar for emergency treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.—Agencies
