Three injured over irrigation water dispute near Daharki

DAHARKI: Three villagers were severally injured when a group of armed men attacked them over a dispute on water rotation at village Yousuf Tanwri in limits of Keenjho police on Monday.
As per details, a group of about 20 armed men belonging to Shaklani Shar community attacked Tanwri tribesmen over water rotation dispute, leaving Rasheed, Allah Wasayo and Ghulam Sarwar Tanwari seriously injured who were rushed to Civil Hospital Daharki. The condition of Rasheed is stated to be precarious. The attackers later fled in the cover of aerial firing. Keenjho police lodged complaint against accused Ali Bux, Faiz Muhammad, Waryam, Ghuno and Jan Muhammad; however, no arrest was made till filling this story. The elders of Tanwri community told media that police were supporting people of Shar community. They warned to hold protest demonstration outside DPO office if the culprits were not arrested.—RT
