LAHORE: Edhi Foundation has provided first aid to as many as 4000 persons who were injured during `Zanzeerzani’ on Ashura day in Lahore and surrounding areas. As per Edhi spokesman some 25 seriously wounded mourners were shifted to Mayo and Services hospitals. Edhi Foundation also set up 16 emergency centers in city with 40 ambulances and some 100 volunteers to perform round the clock duty, spokesman added.
