Raja Zafar-ul-Haq demands formation of national government
prior to election
OKARA: Chairman PML-N, Raja Zafar-ul-Haq has
demanded of the government to call a round table
conference for formation of national government
prior to election. “ Free and fair election
is not possible in presence of President Pervez
Musharraf but we are ready for February 18 election,”
he stated while talking to PML-N candidates
on Monday. He said that level playing field
had not provided to political parties as the
rulers were backing the king parties. Caretaker
government is the continuity of PML-Q, he held.
“Our first demand is restoration of the
constitution, second, stepping down of President
Musharraf form his office and holding of free
and fair election after formation of national
caretaker government,” he maintained.
“ National exchequer is being used for
electioneering of PML-Q but on the other hand
rulers are vehemently refusing the blame of
opposition,” he maintained. The caretaker
government is issuing development funds for
the king party, he opined. He said that Nawaz
Sharif was playing vital role for prosperity
and stability of the country.—Agencies
