LAHORE: The chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain
Ahmed warned on Thursday that JI would launch
campaign to move the masses over the issues
of reinstatement of deposed judges, price hike,
worsen law and order and the US threats.
Talking to journalists, after the JI council
meeting in Lahore, he said the leadership of
present ruling parties instead of taking interest
in resolving public issues, undertaking frequent
visits abroad without bothering to pay heed
to the real issues.
He said the Jamaat’s congregation scheduled
to be held on October 24 will be transformed
into a public movement.
Answering a question, he alleged the government
is backing outlaws and added that he had the
right remedy for the traitors.—Agencies
