THATTA: Thatta Police, on the directives of DIG Hyderabad Sanaullah Abbasi, have stared a campaign to get back the weapons given to some citizens on political grounds by the previous government. Sources said that around 62 people were given police weapons, out of which 18 people had already submitted their weapons to the police while 44 had yet to submit them. DPO Thatta Fida Hussain Mastoi told the reporters that these 44 people were given a three-day ultimatum to submit their weapons, adding strict action would be taken against those who did not comply with the orders.
