TANDO JAM: An emergency meeting of the Deans’ Committee of Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, held on Thursday, regretted attitude of the university’s employees causing academic and research loss to the institution.
The meeting chaired by Prof. Shafi Mohammad Nizamani opined that the strike observed by the university employees had brought bad name to the university. In the larger interest of the institution, the committee demanded immediate call off of strike and advised the protestors to come on table of dialogue so that normal academic environment is restored in the campus. The meeting was attended by Dean, Faculty of Agriculture Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hussain Bux Bhutto, Dean Faculty of Crop Production, Prof. Dr. Shamsuddin Tunio, Dean Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Prof.Dr. Gul Muhammad Baloch, Dean Faculty of Agricultural Social Sciences, Prof. Khalid Ahmed Maher and Director Institute of Food Sciences and Technology, Prof. Dr. Saghir Ahmed Sheikh.—RT
