Mazharul Haq Siddiqui visits Metharam Hostel
-Hostel to be handed over to Marui Girls admn next month

JAMSHORO: The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui on Thursday visited the Metharam Hostel Hyderabad to inspect the availability of accommodation in the hostel to start 5-year LL.B program on the Intermediate basis under the department of Law of the University.
The Registrar University of Sindh, Muhammad Saleh Raja and other officials were also accompanied to the Vice Chancellor.
In charge of the hostel and Principal of Sindh University Model School Hyderabad, Akhtar Ahmed Memon briefed the Vice Chancellor about the working as well as the availability of the accommodation in the hostel.
He informed that a Metharam Hostel and the Model school are already commencing their higher secondary classes in the morning.
He said that the department of Criminology of the University has also occupied 10 rooms for offices and classes for M.Sc Previous and M.Sc Final under evening program.
The Vice Chancellor on this occasion visited all classes engaged for higher secondary classes as well as classes for the department of Criminology program.
After visiting the Metharam Hostel, it was decided that the classes for 5-year LL.B program will start at the department of Law of Model School Hyderabad from next year. The University will also move a proposal before academic council to upgrade the department of Law as Institute of Law.
It is worthwhile to mention that already ongoing 3-year LL.B degree program will continue in affiliated Law colleges of the University of Sindh.

Allama I.I Kazi campus
The Sindh University Vice Chancellor Mr.Mazharul Haq Siddiqui on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction work of undergraduate girls' hostel at Allama I.I. Kazi Campus Jamshoro. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, Registrar Muhammad Saleh Rajar, Provost Marui Girls Hostel Dr. Qamar Jahan Mirza were also accompanied to Vice Chancellor.
The Project Director Engineering wing briefed the Vice Chancellor about the progress of the construction work.
He informed that the work is under progress and it will be completed within few days.
He also informed that in next month hostel will be handed over to Marui Girls Administration.
Admission forms
for CSS/PCS to be issued today
The University of Sindh has announced on Thursday that admission forms for admissions to CSS/PCS coaching classes will be issued to the candidates from July, 25, 2008 (today).
