Govt has failed to maintain law & order: Rao Sikandar
Iqbal
OKARA: Former senior Minister for Defense Rao
Sikandar Iqbal said that the present government
had totally been flopped in maintaining law
and order in the country, which was in grip
of price hike, unemployment and incidents of
murder all around. He said that if such a situation
continued to prevail the whole country would
engulf into civil war.
He expressed these views while talking to media
persons at his residence here. He said the country
at present was facing socio-economic and political
debacle, which had no example in history.
The country, he said, on internal and external
fronts was unsuccessful, while during the former
regime the policies were made keeping in view
ground realities due to which economically and
politically it achieved stability and its geographical
frontiers also remained safe. He asked the political
and religious parties to jointly formulate a
strategy to bring the country out from existing
turmoil, failing which there is danger of inflicting
a loss to its territorial integrity.—Agencies
