discuss many issues including CJ activities
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has
met president general Pervez Musharraf in presidential
camp office Rawalpindi on Tuesday and exchanged
views on a set of issues including president
recently concluded 4-nation trip, Charsadda
tragedy and overall political situation of the
country. Sources told Online Tuesday president
general Pervez Musharraf took the prime minister
into confidence on his visit to Poland, Spain,
Bosnia and Turkey saying his visit to these
countries remained fruitful and productive.
This will help augment relations with these
countries in the fields of trade and investment
and other spheres of activities. Prime Minister
congratulated the president on his successful
visit to the four countries.
President described his meeting with Afghan
president Hamid Karzai positive saying it will
bring to end the misperceptions and blame game.
Both the countries will further strengthen bilateral
interaction and cooperation for elimination
of terrorism and extremism. President also expressed
gratitude to Turkish leadership for sponsoring
meeting. President and prime minister strongly
condemned Charsadda tragedy saying such incidents
can not weaken government resolve against terrorism.
We will continue to chase the terrorists and
will take the war to its logic end”, they
vowed. Both the president and prime minister
expressed condolence with the bereaved families
and directed the law enforcement agencies and
security agencies to detect the perpetrators
of this terrorist act so that exemplary punishment
