Bhutto eligible to
contest in next general elections
KARACHI: Former Prime Minister, Zulfiquar Ali
Bhutto’s grand-daughter, Fatima Bhutto
has become entitled to contest the next general
elections, as her name along with the grandson
Bilawal Zardari have been included in the new
electoral rolls. Fatima Bhutto is the elder
daughter of Murtuza Bhutto, the elder son of
Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto. She is now 25 and educated
abroad, which is equivalent to M.A. Degree here
besides she has an interest in politics and
also possesses deep insight in history and literature.
Fatima Bhutto’s mother and the chief of
People’s Party (Shaheed Bhutto), Ghanwa
Bhutto said that whether Fatima would contest
in the upcoming elections or not would be decided
with consultations. On the other hand, Zulfiquar
Ali Bhutto’s grandson and former Prime
Minister, Benazir Bhutto’s elder son Bilawal
Zardari attaining the age of 18 got his national
identity card made through the Pakistani embassy
in Dubai and his name has been enlisted as a
voter in the Naodero Union Council, Larkana.—Agencies
