ISLAMABAD: Imam Kabah As-Sheikh Abdullah bin Sohail said Tuesday that those who are involved in terrorist activities and suicide attacks in Pakistan are astray people.
Talking to Federal Minister for Religious Affairs in Saudi Arabia, he said that these people have nothing to do with Islam, adding that had Muslim world been united, these incidents would not have occurred, all such problems could be resolved through unity among Muslims.
Addressing a news conference here, the federal minister reported the Imam of Kabah as saying that Maulana Abdul Aziz and Allama Abur Rasheed Ghazi disappointed him by not agreeing with Maulana Mufti Taqi Usmani and Dr Abdur Razzaq. Imam-e-Kabah said that Islam does admit of construction of masjid or madrasah by encroaching any official or anyone’s private land.—Agencies
