RAWALPINDI: On the occasion of May Day, All Pakistan Oil Tanker Owner Association have taken rallies across the country in the favour of President Pervez Musharraf. A mammoth rally originated from Sawan which culminated at Murree Road in to public meeting and slogans were raised in the favour of President Musharraf in the front of Press Club Rawalpindi. In the end, a ceremony was held in New Lalazar Ground in which hundreds of laborers were participated. The ceremony was presided over by General Secretary Raja Muhammad Saeed.
Addressing in the ceremony, President Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Senior Vice President Raja Farooq Ahmad, Vice President Raja Sheeraz Ahmed have said that labours play important role in the development of any country. They said that Islamic stresses enormous importance on hardworking and only Islamic system can provide protection to labors.
They said that labors living in the society without the basic necessities of life in the present modern era and feudal and capitalists exploited the labors and gave inhuman treatment to laborers. The leaders of All Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association said that the labors were facing enormous difficulties to survive as they paid meager wages for the work they performed.
