SIALKOT: The relatives killed a young girl Shagufta Bibi over honour in village Kot Jhandey Wala-Satrah, Daska tehsil, Tuesday.
Reportedly, Shagufta Bibi (25) had eloped with her paramour a few months ago and a local jury (Panchaiyat) allowed her to come back. Few days ago, she came back at her parents’ home in the village. Her few of the infuriated cousins stormed into her house and shot her dead over honour and fled away. Satrah police have registered a case, with no arrest, in this regard.—Agency
